The Dhaka International Textile and Garment Machinery Exhibition is set to make its return at the International Convention City Bashundhara in Dhaka. The fair has become one of the most important platforms for textile and garment equipment, drawing manufacturers, suppliers and technical experts who follow the industry’s rapid shift toward advanced production solutions.
For nearly twenty years, the exhibition has supported Bangladesh’s textile sector. Over time, it has expanded to include themed events such as DITATEX and DYECHEM, giving visitors a wider look at new techniques, materials and technology trends. The show is organized by Yorkers Trade and Marketing Service Co., Ltd., a long-time host of major international trade exhibitions.
Record Participation at DTG 2025
The 19th edition, held from February 19 to 23, 2025, marked another strong chapter for the country’s growing textile and garment industry. DTG 2025, together with DitaTex and DYECHEM, brought in about 1,000 exhibitors from 32 countries and regions. The event covered 25,000 square meters of exhibition space, the largest footprint to date.
Attendance also crossed a new milestone, with 37,479 visitors, including professionals representing major global brands. With this response, DTG strengthened its position as Bangladesh’s leading textile and garment machinery exhibition, and demonstrated the country’s role as a serious player in global textile production.
Exhibitors Call DTG a Crucial Business Hub
Many exhibitors described the fair as one of the most reliable places to build business in the region. Companies such as STÄUBLI SARGANS AG and MURATA (THAILAND) CO., LTD. noted that the exhibition helped them reach key customers and present new automation, dyeing and production technologies.

A Platform for Industry Growth
Akai Lin, Overseas Director of Yorkers Trade & Marketing Service Co., Ltd., said the steady expansion of Bangladesh’s textile and garment sectors is clear despite global economic pressure. He noted that DTG continues to connect Bangladeshi manufacturers with international suppliers, and that positive feedback from exhibitors reflects the show’s value to the industry.
Preparations are already underway for DTG 2026, scheduled for February 5 to 8 at the ICCB. Booth applications are now open for what will be the exhibition’s 20th edition.
Bangladesh’s Growing Importance
Bangladesh remains the world’s second-largest exporter of ready-made garments. The sector accounts for roughly 80 percent of the country’s export earnings and employs about 4.4 million people. As a result, the country offers strong opportunities for global suppliers of textile and garment machinery, raw materials and accessories. Its position also makes it an important entry point to South Asia’s fast-growing textile market.
Why Companies Choose DTG
DTG’s long history and strong local connections give exhibitors access to a stable, well-established marketplace. The fair is known for efficient networking and is supported by numerous international textile associations. Exhibitors consider it one of the best places to present new equipment, form partnerships and tap into a market that continues to grow in both capacity and demand.
